I was so excited to find a pale blue envelope in this morning’s mail. I was even more excited to find a little sticker sending it by Air Mail…and it said Royal Mail. (Oooo maybe it was a letter telling me that I was really a princess like Mia).
Sadly, nobody has realized that I am a princess yet, but the envelope’s contents more than up for it. The beautiful felted flower brooch that I won from Jox at The Knitted Blog during OHOW had arrived.
Thank you so much Jox!
What an adorable brooch!
I’m stopping by and saying “hi” to my fellow OWOH bloggers. It’s really great fun seeing what is going on with everyone now that the rush is over.
OMG I am jealous, that is just so CUTE!
BTW I did happen to read about about a princess who was accidentally left behind after a picnic in your area. They believe she was taken in by a family and raised as their own. They think the family would have cared for this little girl so much that they didnt tell her the story of her past, for fear they would loose her.
I read that the princesses has a secret guardian, a cat with incredible talents (bestowed on her at birth by her fairy godmother). This cat is not a pet of the girl, for she doesnt even know about the guardian, but every so often the cat checks in on the girl to make sure she is ok. Sometimes the cat will disguise itsself as a dog. The cat is in negotiations presently to restore the princess to her rightful title and though this process, some of the story was leaked.
This all sounds pretty far fetched, but I read it in a reputable newspaper.
Anyway, the story continued by reporting that at sometime the princess (who still doesn’t know she is a princess, but may have an inkling she is) will receive a ’sign’ What exactly that sign is they weren’t willing to say. The CIA censored the article. The CIA is in on this too because if the princesses identity is revealed she may be in grave danger. The article alluded to the fact that the ’sign would take the form of a ‘common garden element’ and would ‘contain a hidden latch, a zip or some such similar fastener” What ever that means, I have no idea.
I was sitting on the train as I read this article, looking over the shoulder of a rather portly old man who wore plaid. He was reading it also. He seemed an odd character and when he got off two stops before my intended station, I refrained from following him.
So I never got to the end of the article, but its an interesting story, no?
What an adorable brooch!
